The Servicing Guide

The Servicing Guide consists of 40 pp A4, taken mainly from the Resource. It is compressed in .pdf format for ease of download and posting. If you do not have Adobe Reader it can be downloaded for free HERE.

It is printable and easy to use on laptops and any other time of computer that accepts Adobe Acrobat or pdf files

And speaking of free:

The idea has been to keep all the facilities of RV8R free to users without any hindrance. This has helped its popularity and we are now running at over 15,000 visitors per issue. However, the demands of the bandwidth have increased, and my costs have increased. I had hoped that advertising might help defray the pain and thanks to those advertising on the left for their help in keeping RV8R free, but this has proved wildly optimistic.

So what I am going to do is ask everyone who downloads the Guide to consider paying a sum towards it. I ask £5, which I think is reasonable. Download it first and if you think it is rubbish or not worth the asking price then so be it.However,l I would point out that the only other servicing guide out there will set you back £40 with postage.

Please send the money via PayPal at rveight@btinternet.com or by cheque, made payable to RV8R, to: Guide, Pentheos, Founthill Road, Saltdean, Brighton BN2 8AJ. There will be no charge for upgrades.

So just to clarify: I am not going to demand payment or anything like that. All I’m asking is that if you feel the Guide is worth a few quid then I would appreciate you putting that thought into cash. Or at least a cheque or transferable money.

The Guide has been limited to 40pp for reasons of ease of printing. I don’t want to beggar the firms you work for. If this proves to be what people want, and I’ve had enough people asking, then I will produce other tasks in the same format.

Like what you see? Want one? Then all you have to do is send an email to rveight@btinternet.com from the address you would like the .pdf file sent to, one that will accept a 5 meg attachment. Please allow a couple of days for posting. Include Guide download in the title.

We do not use, nor will we use, your email address for any function other than forwarding the .pdfs and sending information of any upgrade to that specific .pdf. If you do not want to be notified of any upgrade please include the words Unsubscribe Guide in the title bar, either when you order or at a later date. If you do so then your email address will not be retained.
