GENERAL

Check seat belts

Check all electrical components

Check handbrake

Check tyres and pressures

Check road wheels

Check wipers

Check/lubricate hinges, doors, boot and bonnets locks and catches

Check cooling fans

 

UNDER BONNET

Check exhaust manifold bolts

Check rocker cover

Check distributor and high tension leads

Check drive belts

Check throttles and linkage

Check throttle stop

Check windscreen fluid level

Check PAS reservoir level

Check clutch fluid level

Check brake fluid level

Check clutch master cylinder

Check underbonnet grommets

Check engine breather hoses

Change spark plugs

Clean stepper motor

Check radiator and pipes

Change cooling fluid

 

WHEELS AND BRAKES

Remove road wheels and check

Check brake pads, discs, callipers, flexible hoses

Check suspension fixings

Check steering joints, rack gaiters, ball joints, wishbone bushes

Check PAS pipes and unions

Change brake fluid

 

OIL AND FILTER

Change engine oil and filter

 

UNDER THE CAR

Change fuel filter

Change gearbox oil

Change diff oil

Change clutch fluid

Change coolant

Change air filter

Check underbody

 

SPECIALIST TASKS

Check engine timing

Check headlight alignment

Check tracking and camber
